The prompt from Haiku Heights is Death, quite grim.
Death
With each dagger-kiss
I bleed a thousand times. He
Buries me with glee

I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom
Hohhot who ever is kissing with daggers has got to go!
Too true. Death to the Dark Kisser.
Oh oh
. Very nice
Thank you my sis.
Poetry snaps. Dark, but I like it.
Ow, thanks CC
With each dagger-kiss, I bleed a thousand times…Wow! Awesome Haiku
Loved it!
Thanks a million, Gracy. I’m happy for your visit and comment.
Wow. What imagination.
Thank you, Tigerbrite
Wonderfully macabre.
Many thanks, Anthony.
Celestine, Wow! That’s a scary one, yet very good one. I like the use of dagger-kiss and then buried at the end. I can see the point of view of both the victim and the predator.
Thank you, Claudia. Your comment is a delight to me.
Kiss of death, scary but nice composition.
Thank you, Reshma
Glad to see you here
Kissing to entrap one! Deep!
More of a betrayal, Marie.
Celestine,
Ooooo. I love this one. Complex. Real death or metaphorical death? I had to sit with this one a while. I’ll read it again and sit with it a while longer. There’s more here than what I got on the first pass. Very nice.
Alice
Metaphorical death, Alice. This is more of a betrayal. With each kiss from her lover, she ‘dies’ a little because the kisses are false; there is no love.
That was eerie !!!
Yes, but a metaphor as well.
Thanks for the lovely support, always
Dark indeed, whoo!
Yay
with glee .. dark. I like it!
Thank you, Parmis
Nice metaphors. Love it Celestine.
Many thanks, my friend
Time to kiss this one good-bye!!
Too true, Wabi. Thanks
Is it pain or pleasure that is causing death ? I wonder???
The dagger-kiss is the false kisses from a faithless lover so she is dying of pain from the betrayal.
Ouch! We might need some blood transfusion here. I enjoyed this Celestine, not the dagger kisses but waving them farewell
Ha ha ha
Thank you, Hazel.
Hopefully not…
Hope all is well.
I loved the metaphor! very craftly done!
Thank you so much, Meenakshi
Glad you were able to connect with it.
Glee? Oh, my!
Slow Death by Guinness
that sounds like sweet death, or am i wrong?
Could be, Trisha. Could be a painful one too, from a lover’s betrayal. Thank you.
how heartless – the life-taker! Better to bleed and know that you have given than take and know that you have never loved!
I agree wholeheartedly with your wonderful comment, Whistlingninja
