Hi folks, I’m back from the trip. By the grace of God, the customary one week celebration of my father’s death came off finely without a hitch. It’s just that I’m exhausted and under normal circumstances should be at home resting but I am at work today, and ‘stealing’ a little time to blog.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank you wonderful friends out there for the love and good will messages sent my way.
I appreciate them; warm hugs to you all
The week’s prompt from Haiku Heights is Breeze. I have two offering as follows:
(1) Breeze
She breezed through my heart A whirlwind in flight from love Hold her captive, please.(2) Breeze
Soft lavender breath Kisses her to sweet slumber Dreamy breezy night Copyright © Celestine Nudanu 4/3/13+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom
Glad it all went off all right. People aren’t ignoring you if you comment on their blogs, WordPress is screwy at the moment and not giving notifications on replies from other blogs. they are looking into it though
I do hope they sort it all out soon.
Beautiful, C. Love this!
Thank you, Susan
I LOVE the second breeze I LONG to have a lavender farm and that is my dream in a poem!!!

“her”… but that’s okay hehehehe
OMG! Looking at the gravatar i thought you were a ‘he’. So sorry
Hey.. I’m not the least bit concerned what people ‘perceive’ me as… I’m very comfortable with ‘me’ and it’s okay that not everyone has the same perceptions.
NO apologies necessary my friend.
Breeze has a warm romanticism in it !!!
Indeed
Very nice, both!
Thank you

Lovely haiku and so good to see you back dear. Will there be a one year celebration as well?
Thanks, Gilly. Certainly there will be a one year celebration exactly a year after the burial in April.
Wish you could be around

Hello Celestine, glad your back, sorry you’re tired and at work but glad you’re stealing time to share your talent with us! You are my favorite Haiku poetress, I think I’ve mentioned that before, just thought I’d mention it again my friend. Lovely, lovely as always the perfect blending of all the elements.
Thank you so much, Penny. Your words always lift me up.

I love your work
Thank you, Aman
Glad things went well. I adore the first one.
Thank you so much
I loved the first one best x she breezed through my heart is a wonderful phrase.
So sorry to hear about your dad. The loss of someone so close takes forever to come to terms with. Take time to recover your balance, be kind to yourself. x
Thanks a million for your kind concern.
Those who breeze through are hearts are not terribly reliable, I think.
No Ruffling Breeze
My point exactly, MMT. Thanks
I concur with all comments. Welcome back my friend.
Thanks a million, Lady
Lovely!
Thank you Aparna
I enjoyed your haiku thoroughly…
Eliz
Glad you did
Celestine,
Thanks for that nice memory.
The “dreamy breezy night” sounds wonderful. Reminds me of when my husband and I were newlyweds and would go to the beach in the evenings.
You are very welcome, Claudia. I’m happy my humble offering meant something to you
Hugs and love. Sorry I have been MIA, I feel like I have lived so many lives in these past few weeks.
Glad all went well, thanks and praise to God
Thank you Boomie. Indeed you were sorely missed by us all and it’s so good to see you back
