Day 3 of the Mindful Writing Challenge. My second Small Stone for January is below. Please, enjoy
A Better World
In the haze and craze of the morning
A father lashes out in frustration
The child’s cheeks and ears are beating drums
Oh, for a bit of love, tolerance and patience
To make the world a better place

Ow, Mary, thanks so much. You know I have also been awed all the time that I read your reviews because these days anytime I pick up a book to read I feels so sleepy I can barely manage a chapter. 🙂

Oh, I hope this man learns it before the child pays more deeply. Sad poem, but so strong.

Celestine sometimes you write with such frightening rawness. This is one of those times. I felt this pain.
