Day 21 of Mindful Writing Challenge. My 18th stone. I’ve missed three stones but never mind 🙂
Grandpa
A stray pussy cat found its way to our home and has just delivered her babies. My husband who loves pets with a passion, is now a nursing grandpa. You should see him with the mother, cooing over her and stroking her so lovingly as he feeds her. Unfortunately we don’t know where exactly she delivered her kittens nor do we know if they are alive.
I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom
You are both kind souls. I like this stone. Thanks from mothers everywhere for your kindness.
Alice
Oh Alice, the thanks go to hubby. As for me, I just can’t bring myself to like pets, especially dogs. I am so much afraid of them. Silly, isn’t it? 🙂
Not so silly. Lots of folks are. Thanks to you for tolerating your hubby’s impulse in spite of this.Keep writing.
Aww… Bless your hearts
Oh Boomie, as for me I am hopeless around pets. Just can’t stand them
Lovely stone!
Thank you, Wabi
That’s an emotional one! Nice. Kittens now on my mind.
Thanks a million, Teecee. Been thinking of them every now and then.
You are welcome. Sometimes, hope is the only thing we have. Pets don’t talk, so we would just hold on to hope till answers come.
🙂
Awwww–I love cats, so this is an especially happy small stone for me. I can understand your husband’s reaction perfectly 🙂
Oh WC, just this morning, he was so worried that the cat was not drinking her milk while all I thought of was how to get to work early. Anyway, if she continues this way, we may have to send her to a vet. 🙂

She will eventually bring the babies to him. Good luck finding homes. 🙂
Oh, I hope so though I will not be too enthused. Thanks, Kim. 🙂
I know they are like their big ancestors. Cute and cuddly when babies but very aggressive and self centered when matured.
if she has delivered, and trusts you she will soon land up with her kittens in your home, just let her leave and come at her will if you want to test! 🙂
Trisha, I can’t stand pets and and so if I had my way, she should not come at all with her kids/kittens. But hubby is so keen 🙂
