(1) Betrayal
Furious winds sweep throughdredges of your betrayal leaving me with calm
(2) Betrayal
His dagger-like words Pierce through my weak arteries And oh! How I bleed(3) Betrayal
Your love betrays me To gladly die by your hands In Caesar-like style Copyright © Celestine Nudanu 21/05/13I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom

If we could only learn well from yesterdays that have gone, so as not to repeat the mistakes…. We do draw on our experiences, at least I believe for mostly everything we write…you might enjoy this written for Alastair’s Photo Fiction:

It is hard to settle and move past a ‘betrayal’ when someone asks you not to contact them. So my play on words ‘Through and Threw’ was my way of stating I was infact moving on.
Peace and be well, Jules

Thanks for the wonderful feedback, Jules. I believe that it takes the grace of God to and a strong will power/faith in oneself to move past a betrayal. 🙂 I will check the link.

🙂 Thank you, Alice. It’s heartening to read that you could not resist my; blog 🙂 Now, I’m being vain. Are you at Colorado yet?
Alice Keys said:
I’m here. The sun is brilliant. The sky is blue with puffy white clouds. The leaves are colored chartreuse and lime. Rocks jut up through the soil like crumbling teeth. The mountains were brilliant red on the western slopes of the Rockies. Colorado. Color red. Wow to it all.

Glad you got there safely. What a poetic description. 🙂

I like the 3rd one best! It portrayed love as a strong element emotionally being exposed to attacks! Nicely RP!

Sometimes words are more painful than a dagger !!!
readinpleasure said:
Indeed. The power of of words linger on, but a knife wound fades. At best, you die and no more feel the pain. 🙂

Wow, I love that first one. The picture of misery, betrayal, and brokenness leaving you realizing you have absolutely no control over another person’s actions. So, there is an ultimate calm in letting go, just knowing that it’s all beyond you. All you can control is your own inner peace.
readinpleasure said:
Beautiful interpretation, Henna. I could not have done it better. Thank you 🙂
