Today’s prompt on Haiku Heights is Chivalry
Chivalry
alas, chivalry
fled with the death of the knights
damsels in distress

I married chivalry ♥ It’s not dead. But the world sometimes feels this way for sure.
readinpleasure said:
The world has become cynical, I agree. I am a firm believer of chivalry too 🙂
Nana Prah said:
I don’t think chivalry is dead. I can’t see anyone putting their coat in a puddle so I can walk over it these days. But opening doors and thinking about the female form is still chivalrous, in a weak diluted manner, but still chivalrous. Great hiaku
readinpleasure said:
Thanks, Nana. I guess if we search high enough we will find some chivalrous men around, even here 🙂
Lucid Gypsy said:

Sad but true, a nice pointing out of what we lose, of course some of us still hold doors open for others…not to brag or anything.
readinpleasure said:
LOL You are not bragging at all 🙂 My husband irons my dress for me every day before going to work. 🙂
