Carpe Diem Haiku: Shoobu (Japanese Iris)

I think I mixed up the prompts. Yesterday’s was to be have been for Sunday and so it has come about that I’m posting yesterday’s prompt for today. No problem I guess.  The interesting thing is that if it hadn’t been for Carpe Diem, I wouldn’t have known of Japanese Iris (shoobu) and Rabbit Ear Iris. To me Iris is Iris. But the wonderful Chevrefeuille says that the Shoobu is awonderful flower with enough possibilities to compose and share haiku on it.  So I tried once more 🙂
