Last week we had our wedding anniversary dinner a evening early so we could eat with our son and his fiancee. I had picked up a small gift to congratulate them on their engagement. Sons, though don’t necessarily remember their parents wedding anniversaries. Though the next day our younger son (who we dined with) came by the house and dropped off a card – I think his gal suggested he do so 🙂
It’s all good. We do what we can for family that everyday is special and if one particular day gets… overlooked – it isn’t a big deal.

A belated well wishes on your anniversary, Jules.
Hmm! Sons! In our culture we place so much worth on sons and male children; (though with education and enlightenment, the realization is dawning that the girl child is equally worthy or even better.)
I have all sons! 🙂
