Fa la la la laaaaa la la la love this post!!!!
Thank you Skye 🙂 You should see me as I type, swaying in rhythm to the tune of The Drummer Boy!
Love it!!!! We turn it on the day before Thanksgiving and leave it on until New Year’s. 🙂 Such an amazing time of year.
I’ve always loved Christmas. It was a big thing when growing up, We used to build Christmas huts with palm fronds and sticks and we always ate our rice and chicken and drank our soft drinks there! Now those huts are no more!
a joyful haiku… thank you for this:-)
🙂 You are welcome, Laura. Thankful for your visit!
May we all feel joyful as we hear Christmas songs this year.
Amen to that, Gemma.
Oh it is that time of year isn’t it? Glory be!!
Amen! 🙂

Thank you Cathy. 🙂
Yes … Christmas is just around the corner 🙂
🙂 And I’m happy!
I’m glad you have that happiness in your heart. xo
Thanks Judie.
Keep singing! 😉
Yay! I’m still singing! 🙂
“Silent night, holy night…” 😉
“All is calm, all is bright.” 🙂
Noo its too soon, it isn’t even December yet! 🙂
Yes oo! I always have an early start! 🙂
Alas, I’m afraid if I start singing them too early, I’ll be sick of them by the time Christmas Week arrives! But I do share the feeling.
Oh, me I can never get tired of them. Why even now, my kids are busy with their church rehearsals for the Christmas and our house is full of different sopranos all singing carols!
It’s the singing time of year, that’s for sure!
Yes! And I’m taking full advantage!
Yup, that time of the year is upon us 🙂
Indeed Eric. 🙂
I’m catching that Christmas feel already. Like a terribly welcome cold 🙂
Ha ha ha! Please don’t catch cold!
Christmas is right around the corner. Are you singing Western carols or Ghanaian?
Western carols, Nana. All the Ghanaian carols I know I sang them as a kid at Children’s Service!
Nice! As usual.
Thanks, Audrina
The most wonderful time of the year (at least to me) is nigh! Great mood rising!
Hazel
You are so right, Hazel
This is the first Christmas post I have seen…yay! You put me in the mood with your haiku haven!
Glad I did, Ste J.
Good for you Celestine
Oh Jeremy, I simply adore this. Thanks so much. 🙂
Most welcome 🙂
I can see you floating around working and singing the Carols.
🙂
Me too! It’s really getting that Christmas feel here and lots of houses decorated with lights. Love this fun and festive piece, Celestine.
Thanks Eva. Will be doing the decorations on Friday as it is a national holiday here!
Christmas is big here and businesses shut down, but so many demand separation of church and state.
It’s the same over here too. Most organizations shut down for one or two weeks starting from 24th December. Only the banks work in between the festivities days! As for the separation of church and state it is quite clear here that we are a secular state with a Christian majority if there is one like that!
Sounds like over here! I suppose as different as our countries are, so much is alike.
