Life, another Fibonacci
I
lie
under
the shade of
the mahogany
gazing at the patterns of leaves
inter-weaving gossamer lines of lucid and blurs
a mirror of life’s stretch as we ride in a limousine of soft feathers and metals

Wonderful Fibonacci!! I love that word mahogany, a poem itself.
readinpleasure said:
Thank you so Brenda.
Mahogany is ta kind of wood in Ghana reddish-brown in colour. Its importance lies in its lumber, prized for its beauty, durability, and color, and used for paneling and to make furniture, boats, musical instruments and other items. 🙂
Brenda said:
Yes, I carved a sculpture from it once. It was a joy, but required all my strength. 🙂
readinpleasure said:
You did! That is amazing! You are really talented!

Took me all summer. And the help of a band saw. 🙂

Amazing…really is, so visual, and when finally gets printed and send you copy you’ll see how close to a scene you read this one is. Quite amazing.
readinpleasure said:
Thank you but I don’t understand your comment? Could you be more clearer?
Hamish 'Managua' Gunn said:
Too much stuttering! When I send you the book of mine you will see a passage that is quite similar, which is great! I didn’t want to mention all that so as not to sound pompous.
readinpleasure said:
I’m not really surprised Managua dear. We think alike, more than we care to admit!
Hamish 'Managua' Gunn said:
I will admit nothing! I am too innocent to have anything to admit…! But I at once agree and think you are kind and clever to say so..
readinpleasure said:
I’m almost doubled up in laughter. Deny it dear friend but you know I’m right. Your name is now, Managua Hamish Innocent Gunn!
Hamish 'Managua' Gunn said:
Excellent name, for it reflects my innocent and naive nature!
