in your soul
I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom.
With your visits I was reminded to visit CD ‘dreamcatcher’ – Thank you.
While it would be lovely if ‘dreamcatchers’ did work, I think some nightmares slip through.
I remember making dreamcatchers with a scout group when my boys were young. There is an art to weaving that web. Perhaps I need one that is more than an inch or so in diameter? 🙂
I like your verse about the shooting stars…I remember seeing one as a child. And I was also able a few years back to see the two tailed comet from my back yard.
I’ve seen lots of shooting stars over here, though not in the recent past. And I did see the comet once 🙂
Is it me or has there been some serious renovating here? Wowee. Amazing Celestine. That certainly woke me up. Fresh fresh. Have a fabulous weekend. 🙂
You too dear Nomzi. Indeed, I was trying out a few themes and then bingo, this stuck 🙂 So glad you like it. 🙂
Like magic. When you take the challenge and then something sits just right. Arriba Arriba! 🙂
you have given the dream catcher a soul!
gorgeous and comforting, your light shines through.
Ow, thanks ever so much, Rebecca.
Beautiful haiku Celestine, like a dream in the weaving of your words… And I love the new look!
A double thanks dear Lea. Your words are a gem. 🙂
Very pretty Haiku, Celestine! I especially like the first and second ones. 😀
I hope, though, that you don’t mind if i make a suggestion? In your second Haiku, I think the second line would read/sound better without the use of ‘the’ (“catching shooting stars”). The article seems to halt the flow of an otherwise lovely image, I feel.
Absolutely right, Risa. Thanks a million. 🙂 Done! 🙂
This is beautiful ! It reminds me of our old haiku friend Joe Spado who lovingly mad me an incredible dream catcher. I was thinking of him this morning.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful art.
Kim, Joe Spado will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you for words 🙂
This is one powerful dream catcher!
🙂 Thanks MMT!
Dreamy, Celestine. Loved each one. xoxoxo
Thanks Skye 🙂
Nice haiku especially the third one and I love your new look!
Thanks Gilly. But I changed the bog look again. Still experimenting 🙂
Catching dreams whichever way the wind blows…Pretty effective isn’t it?
🙂
Spot on Gemma. 🙂
It sounds beautifully agile!
🙂 Thanks Hazel.
Like that line snarled my nightmares. Brilliant.
Thanks Kim. As someone who is always having nightmares and strange dreams, I truly wish someone would forever stop those dreams 🙂
Nice hiakus. I’m also liking your new blog look.
Thanks Nana. but it’s changed again! 🙂
Peaceful & calming. 🙂
Thank you Rosy!
POW! Nice new look on your blog!
I thought this was about hula hoops at first. My kids keep dream catchers. They help. Nice poems today. 🙂
Thank you Alice. Never knew about dream catchers unit this prompt. 🙂 Actually wish someone will catch and stop my nightmares 🙂
They don’t work real well. But they’re nice to look at. And kids can make them. I’ll send a few prayers up to soften your nightmares. 🙂
I actually need prayers and strong one at that! 🙂
I’m sending some prayers right now, my friend. You’ve helped me with yours. I’ll ask my family to pray as well. We’ll lift up the heavens with all of our prayers together. 🙂
Ha ha ha! Please do. The heavens will be the richer! 🙂 And I a freer black woman!
More freedom! Our prayers are in the sky already.:-)
Catching dreams and keeping them in my pockets… has been my hobby.. Only thing is a few spill and people who pick them up make them their own…I enjoyed being here..
