Two Fridays ago, I had a lunch date with two wonderful blogger friends of mine who live here in Ghana. They are Nana Prah of http://nanaprah.blogspot.com/ and romance author of Midwife to Destiny and Love Through Time; and Empi Baryeh of http://empibaryeh.wordpress.com/, author of romance novels Most Eligible Bachelor and Chancing Faith.
We chatted about so many things; books, work, children, husbands, boyfriends, love, politics and nothing. Time flew fast, like whirlwind. As all good things have to end, I was sorry when it ended. But we had to go on home and we all promised to do it again soon. Incidentally, Empi works just about fifteen minutes drive or less from where I work! 🙂
Check us out!

How exciting!!! I am hoping to get to London before the fall to visit some blogger friends…..It is like a dream come true. I am so glad you had a lovely time! Wish I could there to see you!
It was great, Skye. I can’t wait to hear all about your trip to London.
Lucky trio! Have a jolly good weekend.
Thanks Stella. Hope your weekend was lovely!
I can’t see any photo there Celestine 😦
OAl, is that so? Too bad! But I can still see it patiently sitting on my blog. 🙂
That’s great! I’m glad you had a blast! 🙂
Thanks Sandra.
I wish we all could meet some day 🙂 my friends of wordpress… and spend some days together.
hope you had a great time!
It’s my fervent hope too, Trisha. And yes, I did.
Celestine, I could not get the above photo to open up, but might be on my end, so am checking it out. But, so glad you have such dear friends to enjoy your time with. They are one of the many blessings we can count on to be there when we need them. We have friends like that, too, and have a great time with them when we get together.
Joyce, i think it’s a WP problem that the photo is not opening up. And you are right. To be able to blog with such lovely friends like you is a blessing! 🙂
Thank you, Celestine. Yes, I have had a number of WP problems that pop up, but when not sure I start checking things on my PC as I have a very old desk top running Windows 7 and have a low memory so often have problems with all the programs loading, but when writing I like using the old desk top more than my laptop because my laptop keys are so sensitive and I easily hit wrong keys, especially with my poor vision problems. 🙂
Hahaaaha. I too prefer my desk top when writing. My hubby’s laptop is a no go for me because like you I hit the wrong keys and it can be quite frustrating. So I wait when I come to work and use the desk top when I’m less busy and break time.
sounds like you three had a great time! i may be having browser issues as your photo did not open. i’ll have to catch it at another time. so happy you got to meet up some of your writer friends, Celestine. 🙂 cool!
Sun, I still don’t know why the photo is not opening. So sorry for this 🙂
How cool is that. Meeting fellow bloggers and having time fly by. I couldn’t see the picture. Sounds like you ladies will be having regular tea dates.
I’m surprised because I’m seeing the picture right now. Al also said he couldn’t see it. I don’t know what the problem might be.
I went back and looked. I was on the tablet but now I’m on the desktop and it still isn’t visible for me. 😦
Interesting, I am so jealous.. I wish I was there…
Oh, I wish you could have been there too. Please don’t be jealous. One day we shall meet! 🙂
I cannot see the image though!
Oh Mary, so sorry about this. I don’t know what to do. 🙂
Buuu…I’m not able to view the image.
YAY on meeting up with a couple of your WP peeps! 🙂
Oh Rosy most of my friends are saying the same thing. I feel horrible. I can see the photo right up there!
