Done for Carpe Diem. We are to write a tanka in the same mood and spirit as the one by renowned Haiku poetess, Fuyuko Tomita below:
Actors we all are, she said
mirrors to reflect
We all leave the stage, she said
and left a smile in mine
in the shade of life
we play our roles in blurred weaves
until final curtain call
when our shadows will dance onCopyright © Celestine Nudanu 26/02/15
I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom

I like the idea that a shadow of me will live on.

Our shadows do indeed dance!
Yep! In ways we can’t even begin to imagine. 🙂
This really nice…the shadow dances on. I like that thought.
I like the smile left behind.
Thank you Ada.
Yes, dancing indeed! I have always said I wanted to die dancing…but for my shadow to dance with be even better!
Lol, Cheryl-Lynn. That wouldn’t be bad at all since I love dancing, well until now that my knee started acting up. 🙂
