only fair is fair

fairest heart
your smile guides my steps
mother mine
Copyright © Celestine Nudanu 11/05/15 I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom
I like the dialogue in the first haiku 🙂 cheers!
Cheers! 🙂
Life is never fair. Beautiful words. 😉
Kiru darling, thanks.
I love that the second stanza is a call to the fair hearted one. To me it feels like comfort to she who has hope but is browbeaten with sad realism.
Thanks so much Alura, for the visit and comment. 🙂 That’s another way of looking at it. 🙂
Good work on both of these. I especially like “mother mine”. I hope you all had a happy mother’s day yesterday.
Thank you Alice. Yes we did. Though we spent the day uneventfully. We went to church and came home rather late since I had a meeting at church after the service. 🙂
It sounds like a lovely day. I prefer quiet and uneventful. 🙂
I like both of these. First reminds me of my daughter when young she was always saying “It’s not fair!” LOL. Now that she’s older she knows that sometimes life just is not fair 😊.
Lol, Leonas. How right you are. Several times I’ve cried just like your daughter, even in my adulthood. Sometimes that realisation can be a painful one. 🙂
I like the second one best, it resonates with me.
Thank you. 🙂
So beautiful. Kisses darling
Thank you darling. 🙂
loved both of the above haiku. the 2nd one was better for me reminded of mothers day. Mothers are always fair to the kids irrespective of of the no. of kids she has.
Ajay, that’s true. I actually wrote the second one for my mother. 🙂 Thanks for coming by. 🙂
he is right 😉
🙂 Yep!
Fairest heart , what a great coupling of words. Evokes such a gentleness
Thank you, Audra. 🙂
Only fair is fair. So true.
Yep, Nana. 🙂
I like the first one for some reason. I did enjoy both! Thank you. Love, Amy ❤
My pleasure, Amy. 🙂
I love them both and of course the second one touched my heart.
Oliana, thanks. 🙂
Life has never been fair.
Love the second one. Fairest heart… sounds so loving and beautiful.
