Done for Carpe Diem Haiku Shuukan. And also for Recuerda Mi Corazon.
The emphasis is on C in G R A C E (enlarge your capacity of compassion) as defined by Joan Halifax, a Zen Buddhist, with greater emphasis on “Considering, what will serve.” Consider what will really serve the other person by being truly present for this one and letting insights arise. You feel the moment, you really feel the other and you come in close contact with his/her energy. … there you both are … in contact with each other and with an open heart and mind … on the same level …
Thrill
almost as one
scent of opening bud
fills my emptiness
2
morning thrill
dew drops scintillate
the petals
We need those quiet moments of introspection in order to become aware of all that surrounds us – lovely.
I just posted my verse for this prompt.

Ah, there’s nothing like having one’s emptiness filled with fragrance!
Exactly! 🙂

Enlightening and powerful thoughts.
Kimmy, thank you.
There’s a lot to be learnt from Buddhism, that we can take on board for our haiku.
I try to make my haiku as neutral as possible if that is possible, Gilly at all, while still keeping the overall theme in mind. 🙂
Fresh and beautiful like dew drops on these petals!
Tiny, thank you so much. 🙂
Beautifully sensual 🙂
