Done for Carpe Diem.I remember my first son’s first day of school. He cried so much I also cried as he held on to me, not wanting to stay. He cried continuously like that for a whole month. Whenever I took him to school it was such an ordeal for both of us. Of course being my first born, I lavished him with so much attention; I did spoil him I know. 🙂 His younger brothers coped better I must add. 🙂

I love number 3. Tears shared are healing tears. I remember those first days. They’re hard on moms and kids alike.
Thank you Diana. Even now I dread any parting with my kids. 🙂
How poignant this group of poems is.
Thanks Alice. 🙂
🙂
That’s the right occasion to find those others that one can relate with. What when puppy love blossoms as well! Good observation Celestine!

Thank you Hank. 🙂
All very lovely. My son never shed a tear …. till we left him at college.
That’s great, Janice. 🙂
Oh gosh, I just want to hug you both–these are such precious heart-words, Celestine.
Thank you Jael. My heart trips anytime I think of parting with the kids for longer periods. They will have to leave home one day to make their own lives I know…:-)
Well I know that God will give you the grace and strength when that time comes–just enjoy them for now!
I will my dear. 🙂
Blessings to ALL of you 🙂
Blessings to you too Jael. 🙂
What a lovely poem! I could see you and him crying. I’m happy it was better for the next ones…and mom 🙂
Thank you Tiny. That particular boy of mine can be so emotional even at age 18 now. 🙂
beautifully expressed!
Thank you so much. 🙂
