The Cherita was created by al li. I’ve fallen in love with this lovely poetry form. And for each working day I shall endeavour to post a cherita a day on my blog. 🙂

Reverie
after the cold
the sun streams through
my reverie, warming…
but you see
I still see your silhouette
lingering…

Trying to figure out the imagery that “silhouette lingering..” carries here…a shadow or a foreshadowing of love that wouldn’t last?
readinpleasure said:
Almost. 🙂 Love that did not last. 🙂

LOL, thanks Parmis. 🙂 It refers to a period in my life when everything went bleak. 🙂

I’m glad you it is written in past tense “was”. It certainly provided for beautiful wiring. Wishing you many warm and hopeful days.
