And here I am tossing all night in the heat!
LOL Lea, I don’t know which is better. Maybe the rain will eventually lull me to sleep which I get little of anyway. 🙂
This is a good one for me. Rain doesn’t sooth me into sleep.
LOL, I know right. 🙂
Oh Celestine, rain puts me to sleep. Tinkling wind chimes outside your bedroom window might help too! Its a soothing thing. 🙂
LOL, Judie. There is nothing like tinkling wind chimes outside my window. 🙂 Only the howling wind. 🙂
The rain helps me sleep. Like Lea I need a cool room to sleep in.
I used to love cool rooms but not any more. My joints you know. 🙂
And I to the sound light makes as it cracks the air. Hope both the rain and the insomnia ease up.
The rains are easing up a bit Parmis but the insomnia persists. 🙂
I would give anything for the sound of rain keeping me awake on these hot desert nights! 😉
LOL, I know right. 🙂
Good words!
I love the rain to night, its better to sleep 😉
Greetings
Jutta, good to see you here. 🙂 The rains have let up abit rightnow and it is getting warmer. 🙂
i love rain in the night….well-in the daytime too. hope you are dreaming sweetly. xo
These days, my dreams are not sweet. 🙂
i love night rain…it makes sex better…
Ei my brother. Is that so? Me I am an old lady ooo 🙂
at least that’s pleasant, here we hear the canine choir orchestrated by a family of lunatics who collect dogs in all shapes and sizes and then unleash them on neighbours 🙂
Oh, but that is such a cruel thing to do.
Stubborn insomnia, I say. 🙂 Sound of rain often makes sleep better.
I guess I am too worried to sleep these days. 🙂
Insomnia?
Worries
often keep
us sleepless.

Hmmm could that be a Cherita?
Wow! A beautiful cherita, Jules. Yes, we keep worries that are too heavy to toss to the winds. Great lines. Congrats on your first cherita. 🙂 Keep them coming. 🙂
I may very well add the form to my ‘Mix’ forms this month 🙂
I just started writing a comment and thought….hmm I can add line breaks and voila.
Please do, you are so prolific with the shorter verses. 🙂
Here you go…started for a prompt and continued flowing:
Crosscurrents
Wow! 🙂
I hate the sound of rain. It usually means I have to find a bucket to catch the drops coming in
LOL, Al. Just like here you know. Catching or harvesting drops of rain for the household. Far cheaper than the government supply of water if you ask me. 🙂
