A pleasure, Cathy.
I’m afraid that many of us can relate to this haiku, for it is tinged with sadness.

Many thanks, Carole. 🙂
Oh, for wings to fly after those dreams… beautifully poignant Celestine. And congratulations on this publication!
As always, Lea, I appreciate your support of my work over the years. Gracias my friend. 🙂
I would like to think that the time one sits contemplating dreams, by a window is not at all wasted… Though it can seem sad at times – I suppose.
Like when one watches nature – the prey succeeding. But then we all have to eat.
I’ve just added (gifted by a friend) two more bird feeders to my yard. I think the squirrels will be happier. As they really couldn’t get to the first one.
Your verse also reminds me of a time of mourning – when we believe we will no longer see our loved one. Yet I truly believe of positive influences by our departed – even if only the gentle push of our memories.
You say and evoke so much in your few words. And in the quiet – I like to play with prompts for fiction 😉
Yes, I do see the link between my words and the time for mourning. And indeed, in these times, there is much to mourn about, the harsh economy, the lack of love and fellow feeling among humans and so much cruelty. Sometimes, we miss the many lessons that nature has for us. How utterly sad indeed. 🙂
As always, thank you for your love and support. 🙂
Congratulations on your book. Haiku is wonderful.
Thank you Gemma. As always. 🙂
