Haiku My Heart: Thrill

blooms, Dew, Jane Halifax, Nature, oneness, scintilation, thrill

Done for Carpe Diem Haiku Shuukan. And also for Recuerda Mi Corazon.

The emphasis is on C in G R A C E (enlarge your capacity of compassion) as defined by Joan Halifax, a Zen Buddhist, with greater emphasis on “Considering, what will serve.” Consider what will really serve the other person by being truly present for this one and letting insights arise. You feel the moment, you really feel the other and you come in close contact with his/her energy. … there you both are … in contact with each other and with an open heart and mind … on the same level …

Thrill

almost as one

scent of opening bud

fills my emptiness

morning thrill

dew drops scintillate

the petals

Haiku My Heart: Raindrops

Done for Carpe Diem Haiku Shuukan. And also for Recuerda Mi Corazon.

The emphasis is on A in G R A C E (enlarge your capacity of compassion) as defined by Joan Halifax, a Zen Buddhist, with greater emphasis on “Attaining to Self Other.” Much similar to the Christian JOY, acronym for Jesus first, Others next, Yourself at last.

Raindrops

 first raindrops

this month of May

scorched earth cools

raindrops

just a drop

lenten rose

between death

and resurrection

the veil peels

 and darkness

fades to a gossamer thin

revealing the glow

2

of immortal bloom

his shroud a blossom in Spring

the tomb his victor

then hush, bleeding piece of dust

we rise, for He is risen.

Happy Easter 🙂
