(Sonya, where are you? I miss you)

The Light

thick and choking darkness swirls around me

a foreboding fume in a twirling glee

desperate to suffocate my tender muse

hurling me to a gaping void with fuse

and I fear the emptiness before me

 

In my distress, I raise my eyes to thee

my blinding despair a harrowing plea

and your blazing light slices through that ruse –

thick and choking darkness

 

ah, I feel your aura seeping through me

the soft buoyancy of your misty breeze 

calmly dispelling cobwebs from my muse 

through dissipating haze I  see clear hues

of golden words slashing with their own gleam

thick and choking darkness

I Have Him

Daily

I seek answers

Finding none

I despair.

Daily

I seek

The glimmer

Beneath

The bleakness

 

Hatred

Has a face

Cloaked

In anonymity

She smiles

And Exposed

I stumble

Seeing

Yet not seeing

Blinded by

Her malice

 

I know not

Where I heed

I grope i

In the void

Seeking

To touch

Grasp

Hold

A bit of

Love

 

Hoping

The dangerous

Swirl

Of the abyss

Will not suck

Me

Into the

Vortex

Of her

Black soul.

 

But O,

What joy

And Peace

I am elated

Unfettered

Alive

Breathing 

 

I have

My Answers

I have

The Light

I have

Him
