The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 Annual Report for this blog.

But for me, personally, a look at my blogging activities during the year under review was not so bad. I did a bit on the poetry side but I must be quick to add that, my readings and reviews suffered and that also translated unto two reading challenges which I could not complete, The African Reading and the Back to the Classics Challenges. The reasons for my inability to complete these two are rather boring because you’ve heard them all before. Suffice to say that 2013 might prove very rewarding for me, God willing.

Having said that, I am so grateful to each and every one of you for your likes, comments, visits, encouragement, the confidence you have in me and for being there for me in my time of need. Without you all, I could not have made it this far. I wish you all a Wonderful, Glorious and Joyous New Year. May our on-line relationships blossom to newer, richer and fulfilling heights.

A special shout-out and thank you to all my lovely and super Friday Fictioneers. May you all have a Happy New Year and may our 100 words read more exciting and riveting.

To my splendid Haiku Heights partners, I wish you more joy, peace, laughter and greater achievements in 2013. May our pens drip with more beautiful and enchanting haiku in the New year and beyond.

To Elizabeth, Boomie, Gilly, Susan Daniels and Rosy, I say ‘ayekoo‘ (well done) to you for being my top commenters as contained in the Annual Report.  God bless you, my heroines.

And now the Annual Report. Please humour me, my dear friends. 🙂

Here’s an excerpt:

4,329 films were submitted to the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. This blog had 17,000 views in 2012. If each view were a film, this blog would power 4 Film Festivals
