Angels
waking dream
I grasp at gossamer wings

Reverie
after the cold
the sun streams through
my reverie, warming…
but you see
I still see your silhouette
lingering…

they come true
don’t they?

Sleep
sleepless night
your cologne
whispers to me
2
sleepless night
the stars wink
at discarded clothes
3
silent night
the hum of dreams
above sighing leaves

This week I’m late with my post for Challenge Wednesday by Jeremy of The Boi Poet. But better late than never. 🙂 The idea of these challenges is to use the given prompts to create a piece of flash fiction (100-500 words) or a poem. 914-20 lines).
One line taken out of context from a poem can lead to a whole new dimension of creativity. The idea of this challenge therefore is to create what comes to mind from lines of poetry.
This week’s lines of poetry are below and we are to link back to Jeremy:
Dreams
miles and miles of emptiness stares at nothingness as the dream pipe burst sparkling water gush out dripping to fill the the wide yawn of hope that fuels hollow eyes rain is golden honey to them and they lap the sweetness of the droplets grateful for the watering of parched earth and throats dreams can come true and hearts may be gleeful but the goddess whose dreamboat is now empty goes on chanting for more dreams to fulfill a people’s need for salvation goddess that she is conjures up more dreams but dreams can be hollow, you know Copyright © Celestine Nudanu (07/2/14) I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs.
