Done for Carpe Diem Haiku Shuukan. And also for Recuerda Mi Corazon.
The emphasis is on C in G R A C E (enlarge your capacity of compassion) as defined by Joan Halifax, a Zen Buddhist, with greater emphasis on “Considering, what will serve.” Consider what will really serve the other person by being truly present for this one and letting insights arise. You feel the moment, you really feel the other and you come in close contact with his/her energy. … there you both are … in contact with each other and with an open heart and mind … on the same level …
Thrill
almost as one
scent of opening bud
fills my emptiness
2
morning thrill
dew drops scintillate
the petals

inDone for Carpe Diem Tan Renga challenge. And also for Recuerda Mi Corazon. We are to complete Shoha’s (1727-1772) haiku below with our own inspiration two of lines (preferably of 7-7 syllable each)
at the wagon’s approach,
out from the grass
flies the butterfly
Mine
dew droplets glitter on wings
drizzle sprays the morning walk
