Thank you, Sharifah. Mangoes are my favorites too. I have some in the fridge right now, waiting for me to do justice after I’ve had my lunch. 🙂
We grow a lot of mangoes, called the king of fruits here and plucking them off the trees and delighting in the luscious fruit is heavenly!! Yummmmy!! slurrrp!!
LOL Nanka, I am about to delve into the yummy lusciousness of a mango right now, to wash down a lunch of rice and spinach stew 🙂
Girl, you don’t know how much I love mangoes. I love them! 🙂 Love your haiku, too! Love it!
Ow, thanks so much Blossom. 🙂
the gift you your haiku gives to me…a delicious memory.
traveling in mexico at a very young age into the dense jungles we came across a huge mango tree filled with the ripest of colourful large mangos. it has an amazing sight. we quickly climbed into the arms of this ancient tree standing wild in the jungle and ate our first ever mangos in the shade and comfort of her huge branches.
What wonderful memories, Rebecca. 🙂 In my country here, mangoes abound almost everywhere. Almost every home has a mango tree either planted by the home owners or just sprouted from pollination by birds or wings.
I appreciate the visit. 🙂
