A bit mysterious. What exactly is she seeing? I can only venture to guess.
readinpleasure said:
Oh Nana, she is seeing two bodies locked together in a tight embrace!

Thank you for the locking shadows explanation
I would never have guessed it was an in flagrante delicto situation.
But then again I am a very unworldly person:)

If only there was some sun to see a shadow…
While I have to be here – I not needed today, yet must report to prove I was here.
And must call again to see if I am needed tomorrow. An odd process get several hundred people to fill 12 spots. But there is more to it than meets the eye – since so many can be rejected by either side and several passes. Or rejection without reason. So a solicitor or lawyer can just say I don’t want that juror.
Weather – still rainy and now foggy too.
Glad I brought my rain coat. 🙂
readinpleasure said:
I am sure you will be selected or that journey would have been in vain. Is this our first time?
julespaige said:
They always have two or three times as many people – so the lawyers can reject prospective jurors for any number of reasons. Once local in another state. Second call for this state…but it was as you say in vain – but I’m not complaining to be home. I’m just unsure if since I was called twice and let go that they will call me again in six months or a year…
