Rajani wants us to write a minute poem, 12 lines of 60 syllables broken into in 3 stanzas, following the 8/4/4/4 syllable pattern and the aabb/ ccdd/ eeff/ rhyme scheme.
will you be my lover tonight
siren of night
sing me to sleep
in your arms deep
like tranquil waters softly spill
over a hill
you are the breeze
I need to breathe
so be my lover one more time
when tides are high
and nights are dim
sing me to peace

A new form for me but this is a delightful poem.

Sing, sing me to peace… this all tugs at my heart. Beauty. Beauty in each and every word. So grateful for your poetic heart and friendship Celestine!
Lea, it’s a pleasure knowing such a lovely and generous soul like you. 🙂
Love the word creations and the last line especially ~ ‘sing me peace’ ~ can hear the ‘Spirit’ doing so ~ ^_^
