through the breeze
he whistles my name
love through time

stolen moments
evaporates with his words
ring gathers dust

Thank you Arora. That’s a nice little poem you have up there!
Thanks. I’ve got a lot more….
sweet and sad…i love how lips form the word…amazing write Celestine…:)
Thank you Sumana.
Wow! Both of them are worthy of a huge round of applause…..(claps) well done celestine!
LOL! Thanks a million, Apurva. 🙂 I can hear the applause!
Both great.
But – this girl loves a happy ending. 😉
Sadly – reality doesn’t always have happy endings.
You are so right Rosy 🙂 Life can deal some cruel blows!
#1 Rocks. Love through time is the title of my first romance.
Yay! I might have stolen the title dear friend 🙂
Hello dear. I so love and understand the first part and then the second part I do not get. Can you elaborate on the “stolen moments” please? Why does it seem so cryptic? 🙂
lol! Nomzi, it does sound cryptic. 🙂 I’m referring to illicit love or love based on lies, promises of marriage and then a disappearing act by the man. Such situations abound all the time 🙂
Oh my, I never. Now I get the sad dust on the ring. I do need an early night perhaps. 🙂 Better that he or she runs sooner than later I guess. Disaster at the time but fantastic in the long run. Thank you for explaining Celestine, I really get it now. 🙂
Yes, better to run than stay and regret later! 🙂
Precisely. Can’t keep running forever though. No, no. 🙂
Beautifully touching haiku’s.
Thanks Kim 🙂
I like how you’ve transformed haiku with romance.
Romance or the romantic is in my bones 🙂 We were ‘littered in one day’!
You are a true romantic. I love your work. 🙂
Hmm if only I could sit my bottom down and write a nice romance novel. Lots of drafts I have but no money to publish here. Thinking of self publishing with Amazon!
There’s no money to publish here either. Once you self-publish on Amazon, you’ll have to find a way to self-promote and get un-buried from the millions of others.
I’d buy your book and review for you.Remind me when it’s time. 🙂
Ha ha ha 🙂 I will 🙂
These are rather emotive.
Life or love can be like that 🙂
A fabulous pair of Haiku.
Thanks ma’am!
Celestine, good job. 🙂
I like the part about the ring gathering dust. That’s life for you.
Thanks Lyrical Treasure. Could not find the follow button on your blog!
I like these! The second one is so sad. I like the whole “ring gathers dust” imagery. The first one gave me a lovely picture! 🙂
Thanks for your comments, Risa. Glad you like these.
So lovely and romantic!
Thank you Locomente 🙂
Lovely, Celestine 🙂 A sad twinge in the second one.
You’re right, Aileen 😉 There’s disappointment in love!
The second part though sad is explained well in very few words.
Thanks Kalpana!
I love the second one best. Loved the imagery you created with this. Sad…with romance dying.
Thanks Kathy. 🙂 It’s truly sad when romance dies in a relationship!
Romance rings through both Haiku albeit with contrasting feelings. Loved it Celestine 🙂
Thank you so, Reshma. As always 🙂
beautiful duo!
Thank you dear Trisha.
Excellently written. THese are keepers!

i am carried away with the first one ! how beautiful and romantic Celestine .
