Trying my hands at the quadrille (44 word poem. Word! 🙂 )
Stale Death
they say love is blind
and perhaps so
for how could I have failed
to glimpse the darkness
beneath your light
smooth velvet is the night
that hides sinister cravings and urges
I shudder at your perfumed breath
a musky odour of stale death

inHi my dear friends. Welcome to the month of November, a month where beautiful things happen. My fellow blogging friend, Rajani is hosting a micro poetry month this November on her blog, THOTPURGE. She is inviting friends and all to join in and share their haiku, senryu, cheritas and any form of micro poetry in the comment section on her blog, or add a link to your poem using the Mister Linky widget. Or just drop in, read and say hello! 🙂 Are you game? I am 🙂
Mango
a slice of sunlight
hits my window pane
ripened mango

On a lighter note, these humble offerings are sure to put the smile on your faces as they have done mine. I am looking forward indeed.
(1) November
November my month
My birthday comes in three days
I am truly blessed.
(2) November
I love November
Perfect month for me to bloom
And dispel the gloom
I appreciate your patience with me as I catch up on your blogs. Thanks a million! Shalom 🙂
