My response to this week’s Haiku Heights Prompt, Desert, are the two offerings below: I hope both are cool.
(1) Desert
This scorched barren earth
Parched throats gasp for springs of life
Hell, or Sahara?
(2) Desert
Like a scorched flower
I burn and thirst for your love
Oh, desert me not

Oh Alastair, thanks a million for your concern. I am fine over here. I have been having internet problems the whole week. Even now I had to grab a friend’s lap top to have a quick browse. 🙂 I hope that next week everything will be sorted out. Do take care. 🙂

This beautiful… Ce, how are you doing? I’ve been thinking about you… 🙂
eof737 said:
They are both beautiful was what I meant to say… The second one holds great promise yet reminds me of your loss… The last line of the first one gives me a Hobson’s choice of two bad options but I love the sound of it… Hell, or Sahara. Brilliant as always.
Hope to see/hear from you soon. Keep us updated… Love to the extended family and {{{HUGS}}} too!

Thanks for appreciating my humble offering. I am doing fine, Elizabeth. I have had no access to the office internet for about two weeks now and I feeel so frustrated. I had to fall on hubby’s laptop and use his modem today because this is one of the few times that the machine is free. :-). Seriously it is high time I got my own laptop. I really miss you guys. 🙂
eof737 said:
Miss you too and hope to hear more from you once all is back on track for you… Not a bad idea to get your own laptop; a perfect Christmas gift too! 🙂
