Done for Haiku Horizons. My first boy got admission to the premier university in our country, University of Ghana, Legon, to read Political Science, Heritage Studies and Philosophy. We just completed his registration processes. Its been a hectic few days but I’m a grateful and excited mom. 🙂

all the best! may all his dreams come true!
Thank you Trisha, for your kind wishes. 🙂
superb… and god bless your boy, Celestine… may he climb peaks that he has never thought of 🙂
Thank you so Archana. Much appreciated. 🙂
Congratulations to your son!!! mother must be walking on those clouds to show her son “the sky is the limit”…lovely haiku I hope he will keep tucked in his memoirs and yours. Blessings, Celestine x
Oliana, many thanks my dear friend. Yes, I’m walking on those clouds.
Cedric has made us proud. Getting into uni here is so competitive. He had offers form three universities but we just had to take the offer from the premiere one. 🙂
Yay for Cedric!!
🙂 🙂
Congratulations to your son. Lovely haiku as always.
Thank you so much, Kimmy. We are so proud of him. 🙂
That’s happy news! Congratulations!
Happy indeed! Thanks Tiny.:-)
Congratulations. I’ve proud of you both.
Thanks Alice. We are so excited here. His grades were also good. Though we had wanted him to read Law, the competition was so keen. He loves this course since he is a keen and avid reader. 🙂
I’m glad to hear he’s a keen and avid reader. Reading is a dying habit in the USA. I’ve wondered where our future readers, thinkers and writers would come from. Now I know… Ghana.
Good work, mom. 🙂
Does he start right University right away? Will he be living far away from home?
The reading situation is worse here I tell you. I’m just lucky that Cedric loves to read. Not to boast but he took after me and well hubby also loved reading. The last two boys are a different matter. 🙂
Yes, re-opening is 16th September. And the University campus is right here in Accra infact, about 15 minutes or even less drive from my workplace. And it’s about 45 minutes from our home.
We got him residential status so he will be living on campus and coming home weekends. (hopefully)
It sounds like the ideal situation. I’m also fortunate that both our boys like to read as much as my husband and I.
Congrats! And wonderful haiku!
Many thanks Nicole. 🙂
Congrats, Cele!!
Sylvia darling, thank you. 🙂 God is great!
Oh my. You have done well Celestine. You must be so proud. 🙂
Nomzi, thanks a million. Indeed I am a proud mum. 🙂 To God be the glory.
Yes indeed. And you are most welcome. Have a lovely afternoon. 🙂
Wonderful imagery to capture your feelings over this achievement! Congratulations! =)

Thank you MMT. 🙂
Congratulations to your son!
All the best to him on his new journey.
We dropped my son off at the U last week. Yesterday was his first day.
Oooh – where does the time go?
Haiku feels spiritual. 😀
Rosy thank you.
Indeed where does the time go? I do hope you guys were able to raise as much money as you could for Christoper’s uni.
Wishing him all the best in life, Rosy. 🙂 He will certainly do you proud. 🙂
Congratulations to your son… And of course, to you! 🙂
Ompong, thank you. 🙂
I like how you inferred to the prompt without actually using the word “float” – original!
Thank you Georgia. 🙂

Cheryl, much appreciated. Indeed it is by His grace and we are so grateful to God. I see him once a week and he is doing so well. 🙂
