My son Cedric penned this poem and I just had to post it here.
Miracle
Is my life ending?
I lie on my bed
My mind in turmoil
I try to the best of my ability
But I still can’t shake off this feeling
That something can go wrong
If only I can turn back the wheels of time
I will make it right
2
I do not go through this alone
Many others feel the same anxiety
Only I am a little less apprehensive
Because there is a sliver of light penetrating this darkness
Believing in the Divine Being that keeps me moving
Believing that a miracle will come my way
The day of reckoning has come upon me

Powerful words.
Elaine, thank you. 🙂
I had that teen angst too. I think some Millennial feel this way too – perhaps trapped by technology? Faith is a good thing to have. Remaining positive helps. Remembering that there are people who will listen…

Hugs back my friend. Trust you are keeping safe. In this trying times, we really need to be there for each other and listen. Thanks Jules. 🙂
turning the wheel back in time rarely solves problems, it may solve few of the present ones but new ones will pop up!
Yes, for sure. But the ability to dust ourselves off and move on is key. Thanks for stopping by, Trisha. 🙂
